Jacobs served as the project management consultant, overseeing the shutdown phase and helping deliver the milestone on schedule. The work focused on three key areas: replacing critical swing bridge components to improve reliability, rebuilding the Hammels Wye line structure, and installing flood resiliency measures to protect against future storm damage. Next, crews will complete additional resiliency work around the bridge, continue line structure repairs, and finish construction on a new signal tower.
