Jacobs delivered the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation’s first water design-build project, which provides a reliable and for the first time a sustainable water supply for residences and businesses that will allow for much needed living conditions improvements and economic growth to occur.

To access this new region, The Red Sea International Airport (RSI) will act as the gateway to the Red Sea archipelago and resorts. Jacobs, along with our team of sub-consultants, was tasked to develop the design for RSI from detailed design through to construction documentation.

Partnering with the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Jacobs served as contractual Construction Manager for the Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC), delivering comprehensive energy and water savings for the Library and AOC facilities in Washington, D.C., Virginia and Maryland.

The solution was created through a silo-breaking partnership: The Greater Manchester Integrated Water Management Plan is an industry-defining, integrated framework that can deliver more value, wider benefits and more sustainable outcomes.
Jacobs prepared the first ever water diversion with return flow application under the Great Lakes – St. Lawrence River Basin Water Resources Compact and oversaw the permit approvals, transition from groundwater to Lake Michigan water, and design of treatment improvements and monitoring for returning treated wastewater to the Lake Michigan tributary.
