Jacobs Chair & CEO Bob Pragada joined Frank Holland on CNBC’s Worldwide Exchange to discuss significant growth trends creating meaningful tailwinds for the company. He highlighted Jacobs’ expanding role in the buildout of large-scale AI data centers, manufacturing capacity in the life sciences sector and facilities developing next-generation science.
For example, Jacobs is supporting quantum computing leader PsiQuantum with the buildout of its second quantum computing facility in Chicago, Illinois — an effort aimed at delivering one of the world’s first commercial-scale, fault-tolerant quantum computers. Jacobs is also supporting the buildout of PsiQuantum’s facility in Brisbane, Australia.
In the life sciences sector, Bob noted continued momentum in the GLP-1 market, where new entrants and delivery methods are driving another wave of capital deployment and manufacturing expansion. He also highlighted continued growth in oncology and cancer therapy developments as companies advance new treatment modalities.
Beyond advanced facilities, Bob also pointed to continued investment in improvements to water, transportation and energy and power infrastructure in the United States — areas that continue to drive sustained growth for Jacobs.
