Jacobs supports ground-breaking airport hydrogen trial in the UK

A ground-breaking airside hydrogen refueling trial, led by easyJet and supported by Jacobs and cross-industry partners, has been successfully completed at Bristol Airport – the first airport trial of its kind at a major U.K. airport. A Jacobs led joint venture (JV) was selected to provide environmental engineering, restoration and compliance services for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). As an architect-engineer, Jacobs and JV partner Geosyntec will support safe, sustainable operations for multiple NASA centers, component facilities and other infrastructure assets.

Jacobs to support design, construction and operations for seawater desalination plant

Jacobs (NYSE: J) was selected by Water Corporation, the largest water utility in Western Australia, to design, build, operate and maintain the Alkimos Seawater Desalination Plant in Perth, Australia. The project, part of an alliance with Water Corporation and ACCIONA, is expected to produce 13 billion gallons (50 billion liters) of drinking water per year, scalable up to 26 billion gallons (100 billion liters) under a future project.
