Digital Infrastructure

OCP Group, one of the world’s largest exporters of phosphates, required a highly resilient data center to support its operations across Morocco and the wider African continent. OCP needed to deliver reliable digital infrastructure in a hot, arid climate where water is scarce and regional data center precedents are limited. These conditions place increased demands on cooling, energy efficiency and operational resilience. Without a carefully tailored approach, performance, availability and longterm sustainability could be compromised. The project called for a facility designed specifically for its environment, balancing efficiency with reliability and flexibility while meeting the needs of a growing, globally connected organization.

Jacobs delivered data center tailored to OCP’s operational requirements and its challenging environmental context. We focused on creating a flexible facility that supports secure, reliable operations while optimizing performance in extreme heat and constrained water conditions. By integrating efficiencydriven design strategies and resilient systems from the outset, the facility is positioned to deliver longterm value for OCP and its stakeholders. This digital infrastructure strengthens regional connectivity and supports business continuity enabling OCP to better serve its customers and partners across Morocco and the rest of Africa.
