Matt Gaunt

Over his almost-four-decade-long career, Matt has supported projects at nine nuclear licensed sites. He began his career in hands-on engineering roles and progressed through positions of increasing responsibility across the nuclear and defense sectors, and today serves as program manager at Jacobs.  

He’s passionate about delivering complex work safely, collaboratively and with clarity — especially where technical precision and regulatory rigor are critical. Among his proudest achievements are leading high-stakes nuclear and defense programs in the U.K. and across Europe, supporting national-level initiatives and mentoring teams through complex technical and organizational challenges.  

Outside of work, Matt stays active and spends most of his time outdoors, whether it is fitness, adventure, winter sports or sailing, and enjoys time with his family on their small farm on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds in England.
