Alberto Lazaro

Alberto Lazaro leads a North American portfolio for operations and maintenance, delivering integrated solutions for public and private sector clients. He advances data-driven approaches that enhance resilience and optimize performance, creating long-term value for critical infrastructure and the communities it serves.   

Alberto has more than 30 years of experience transforming large water utilities and infrastructure programs. He has extensive leadership experience, including serving as CEO of a complex water and wastewater utility with $1.6 billion in annual revenue, serving 1.3 million customers and employing 5,000 people.  

Since joining Jacobs in 2017, Alberto has accelerated growth across the company’s infrastructure portfolio, particularly in the Americas’ Southeast region. He is recognized for understanding clients’ operational challenges and working with them as a trusted advocate to deliver practical, high-impact solutions. As an example, he championed digital innovation, delivering AI-enabled and Intelligent O&M solutions for clients such as the Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority.
