Across England, flood and coastal erosion risks are increasing as climate change drives more frequent and severe weather events. At the same time, aging infrastructure and growing pressure on public services make it more important than ever to manage assets effectively and invest in long-term resilience. Without timely action, communities, businesses and critical infrastructure face greater disruption, economic damage and environmental consequences. Through the Government Commercial Agency's Construction Professional Services 2 (CPS2) framework, the Environment Agency can access the specialist expertise needed to plan, deliver and maintain flood risk and asset management programs more efficiently. The framework supports delivery of the Environment Agency's flood and coastal erosion investment priorities while helping create more resilient places for people, nature and the economy.
Jacobs has been appointed to all three Flood Risk and Asset Management lots within the CPS2 framework, providing technical, environmental, commercial and program management services across the full project lifecycle. Our multidisciplinary teams deliver engineering, design, technical advisory, asset management, sustainability and assurance services, drawing on experience gained through previous Environment Agency frameworks.
