Jacobs Brings Together Global Health Leaders to Learn from COVID-19 and Prepare for Future Pandemics

Certain countries fared better than many in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. What can Global North countries learn from positive outcomes in the Global South? And how can the U.S. prepare for future pandemics and improve global health security? Jacobs conducted a limited study on more than 20 countries’ responses to COVID-19, shared preliminary findings during a roundtable with U.S. state and federal policymakers, and will publish a final report with recommendations in early 2023.
