StreetLight Data, Inc. (StreetLight), a subsidiary of Jacobs (NYSE: J) and a leading transportation analytics company providing insights into how people, goods and services move, today launched Closure Impacts, a new forecasting tool within its Traffic Monitor product for operations teams. The tool enables faster lane closure scenario planning to help teams anticipate the impact of closures on traffic flow and design effective and safety-focused diversions.

Jacobs, in collaboration with GHD and Boffa Miskell, has been appointed to deliver the scheme design for the Ōtākaro Avon River Corridor in Christchurch, New Zealand. The project supports the regeneration of land affected by increased flood risk as a result of the Canterbury earthquakes, while restoring the river environment and supporting surrounding communities.

Jacobs to support national ecosystem survey delivery for UK Government’s Natural Capital and Ecosystem Assessment

Jacobs has been selected by Natural England and Defra (Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs) to provide coordination and field delivery services for the England Ecosystem Survey. This is a cornerstone project within the U.K. government’s Natural Capital and Ecosystem Assessment program, which is assessing England's land, freshwater and coastal ecosystems to produce a baseline of England’s natural assets by 2029.

Jacobs selected to lead Southern California rail infrastructure upgrade

Jacobs has been selected by the San Diego Association of Governments to manage construction of the San Dieguito Lagoon Double Track and Special Events Platform project. This critical investment will enhance capacity and reliability along the Los Angeles–San Diego–San Luis Obispo (LOSSAN) Corridor — Southern California’s sole rail link and one of the nation’s busiest, carrying more than 150 daily passenger trains.
