Prestigious award recognizes superb performance by Mentor-Protégé Program participants.

Aerodyne Industries is a Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Cape Canaveral, Florida. A rapidly growing engineering and IT services company, they tackle the nation's toughest engineering challenges in the aerospace, defense and government sectors.

Together, Jacobs and Aerodyne support the Missile Defense Agency on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract in Colorado Springs, Colorado and Huntsville, Alabama.

Originally established in the midst of the First Gulf War, DoD’s Mentor-Protégé Program is the oldest continuously operating federal mentor-protégé program in existence. The award is named for the contributions of Senator Sam Nunn and former Secretary of Defense William Perry, who both played critical roles in the implementation of program.
