During NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang’s keynote presentation at the company’s GPU Technology Conference (GTC) on Monday, March 16, 2026, the founder and CEO highlighted Jacobs. Jacobs awarded Connecticut water treatment plant contract

Jacobs (NYSE:J) was selected to operate and maintain The City of Waterbury, Connecticut's 38 million gallon-per-day (mgd) conventional surface water treatment plant. The City estimates the ten-year contract value at $25 million inclusive of engineering services and support for improvements to the overall facility, sludge system, water quality lab and treatment process.

Our Jacobs Employee Networks (JENs) , in partnership with Scholars Unlimited, spearheaded a summer STEAM activity with the students of William (Bill) Roberts K-8 School in Denver, Colorado. The volunteers, including interns and a passionate new Jacobs employee with just one month on the team, worked with more than 70 students to build electric vehicles.
