What excites you most about your role? I’m truly excited to be part of one of Saudi Arabia’s flagship airport development programs and a key pillar of Vision 2030. It will become a premier global gateway, welcoming millions of visitors. For me, this project is a rare opportunity to shape aviation on a global scale, collaborate with world-class teams and bring best practices into a uniquely Saudi context. What sparked your interest in becoming an engineer — and more specifically, in aviation? From an early age, I was fascinated by how complex systems are designed to serve millions and I see engineering as the foundation for building the world. Aviation captured my passion when I realized that an airport is like constructing a small, fully integrated city — a sustainable investment hub where diverse expertise comes together to achieve the highest quality. This inspired me to specialize in aviation infrastructure, contributing to Airports projects that connect cultures, drive economies and strengthen a nation’s global presence. How has Jacobs’ graduate development program supported your early career journey? The Jacobs graduate development program has greatly supported my engineering career by providing dedicated supervision and ongoing mentorship.
