Jacobs and WSP helped transform Auckland’s North Shore with the Northern Corridor Improvements project, enhancing connectivity, expanding public transport, and delivering community-focused design to support the city’s future growth.
By 2028, Los Angeles will have one of the nation’s most advanced water reuse facilities, capable of transforming 30 million gallons per day of treated wastewater into clean water for groundwater replenishment. The Donald C. Tillman Advanced Water Purification Facility — designed and built by Jacobs — combines cutting-edge technology, public education and sustainable design to help the city maximize water reuse.
At the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s White Oak campus, the Biodefense Laboratory Complex builds what matters: scientific excellence, secure collaboration and public health advancement. Designed and delivered by Jacobs, the facility brings together state-of-the-art laboratories, a vibrant central atrium, and robust infrastructure upgrades — creating a mission-critical environment where FDA researchers can lead at the forefront of biodefense innovation.
Jacobs is delivering one of the Los Angeles metropolitan region’s most complex and transformative infrastructure projects — the LA Metro D Line Subway Extension Project – Section 1. The expansion will connect downtown Los Angeles to the Westside for the first time in history, reducing congestion and linking riders to the city’s cultural, economic and medical hubs.
Jacobs is serving as program manager for a visionary water reuse project in southern California that will create a resilient drinking water supply and protect the local ecosystem.
As part of the Environment Agency's Incident Response Contract in the Southeast (Hub C), Jacobs, in collaboration with BAM, led emergency works to stabilize Black Potts Weir. The effort protected the weir’s structural integrity, ensured continued operation of the Jubilee flood relief channel and safeguarded critical rail infrastructure.
Jacobs played a central role in the once-in-a-generation transformation of Seattle’s downtown shoreline, delivering both design and construction management across more than 14 projects — from the Elliott Bay Seawall and Main Corridor to the award-winning Overlook Walk and family-friendly Pier 58 and Pier 62 — creating a vibrant, accessible and climate-ready waterfront that connects and welcomes people to Puget Sound like never before.
