Jacobs secures rail contract in Singapore

Jacobs has been appointed as the design consultant for the design and construction of the Tavistock Station and Tunnels, as part of the Cross Island Line Phase 1 project in Singapore. Constructed in three phases, the Cross Island Line is Singapore's eighth Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line with the longest fully underground network. It will serve existing and future developments in the eastern, north-eastern and western corridors – linking major hubs and interchanges and make commuting across the rail network more convenient and efficient.

Jacobs to complete design of Eastern New Mexico Rural Water System

Jacobs will provide design services for the remaining phases of Eastern New Mexico Water Utility Authority's (ENMWUA) rural water supply system, which will provide a renewable surface water supply to 55,000 people and Cannon Air Force Base in eastern New Mexico.

Jacobs program recognized with ANG General Thomas D. White Restoration Award win

Jacobs partnered with the United States Air National Guard (ANG) to earn the 2021 ANG General Thomas D. White Environmental Restoration, Installation Award for sustainable work at 158th Fighter Wing, Burlington, Vermont (VT), ANG Base. This award recognizes the team for safely minimizing the disruption to the installation while demonstrating that an effective environmental restoration program is not incompatible with mission-critical objectives.

Jacobs selected to support South Africa nuclear power plant life extension program

Jacobs was selected to carry out essential engineering modifications as part of a $1.2 billion (ZAR 20 billion) program to extend the operating life of the Koeberg Nuclear Power Plant near Cape Town, South Africa. Koeberg is South Africa's sole nuclear power plant and generates 5% of the country's electricity.

Jacobs has been ranked as the Top Global Environmental Consulting Firm and No. 2 overall in Engineering News-Record's annual survey of the Top 200 Environmental Firms. The company reported $4.6 billion in environmental consulting engineering revenue for 2020, encompassing the categories of clean energy, air quality, environmental management, water supply and treatment, environmental science, wastewater treatment, hazardous waste and nuclear waste.
