Operating multiple manufacturing and supply facilities across the U.S. and Canada requires consistent management of environmental, health and safety (EHS) compliance. For this client, evolving regulations and complex permitting requirements alongside site-specific operational demands made it challenging to maintain alignment across facilities. Air, water, waste and safety programs needed ongoing coordination, while increasing expectations around sustainability added further complexity. Without a consistent, integrated approach, these challenges could lead to inefficiencies, increased compliance risk and higher operational costs. To address this, we established a long-term, site-based model — aligning compliance with sustainability and operational priorities to improve performance and ensure consistent delivery across all facilities.

We’ ve managed permitting, inspections, audits, compliance calendars and training, while tracking key metrics including emissions, energy, water and waste. We’ve implemented practical compliance tools, supported wastewater treatment operations and strengthened health and safety programs tailored to each site — and validated carbon neutrality for a new production facility. By aligning regulatory strategy with day-to-day operations, we’ve reduced compliance costs and improved efficiency while strengthening relationships with regulators and local communities.
