Steve Pelham
Steve Pelham has been named Jacobs Transportation Market Director in the Americas. He will also continue serving as the Aviation Market Director for the region as he has for the past four years.
Leading the aviation market, Steve offers strategic advisory consulting and project delivery oversight services to clients and aviation project teams. With over 35 years of experience in airport planning, environmental, design, engineering, architecture, security, and program management and construction management (PM/CM), Steve provides solutions and services to address client challenges.
He’s involved in international and domestic projects of all sizes and levels of complexity across the U.S. and globally. Steve's dedication to and enthusiasm for aviation has led to his long-term involvement in numerous professional organizations focused on the latest technologies, project approaches, best practices and emerging issues – lately including digitalization and decarbonization/sustainable aviation fuels.
He’s participated in various committees and boards with the Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC), American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), Airports Council International, and Airport Consultants Council (ACC). Currently, he is a member of the Aero Club of Washington and serves on the boards of ACI World Business Partners, the International Association of Airport Executives, and co-chairs the Tony Janus Distinguished Aviation Society.
Outside of work, Steve loves spending time and traveling with his wife, Sarah. They enjoy keeping up with their two dogs, Walter and Nelson and Rico, the cat. Their three children, Andrea, Jonathan, and Preston, keep him young and on his toes. Two of his three children have gotten married in the last two years, and he is grateful for his wonderful son and daughter-in-law. Steve also enjoys fitting in fishing, golfing, grilling, laughing and just being outdoors whenever he can.
