Simon Jones provides technical and strategic leadership that shapes public transport programs spanning bus rapid transit, operations, infrastructure delivery and emerging mobility solutions. He also brings extensive experience evaluating transport investment options, including light rail and bus rapid transit systems. 

Throughout his career, Simon’s advised on some of the most significant bus transit programs across Australia and New Zealand. His experience includes Brisbane Metro, Auckland's Eastern Busway Alliance and Auckland's Northwest Busway Te Ara Hauāuru — programs that support population growth and give people more reliable access to reliable public transport. 

A strong advocate for public transport-led city shaping, Simon deeply understands the role that high-quality transit networks play in creating more livable communities. His work focuses on priority infrastructure, network performance, passenger experience and the transition to zero-emission fleets. 

As global principal for bus transit, he supports governments, transport agencies, contractors and project teams, sharing insights, strengthening technical capability and advancing innovative approaches to bus transit planning and delivery.
