Nason McCullough
Nason McCullough, PhD, PE, GE, RPEQ, is a global principal and project manager in Jacobs’ dams practice, with more than 25 years of experience as a geotechnical engineer working on projects worldwide. He specializes in developing technical solutions for complex dam and waterfront infrastructure, helping clients address geotechnical challenges and improve long-term performance.
He has led major geotechnical projects across a range of environments, supporting the design, assessment and rehabilitation of critical infrastructure. His work focuses on managing risk, enhancing resilience and delivering practical, constructible solutions that meet both technical and regulatory requirements.
In addition to his work at Jacobs, Nason is an adjunct professor and industry advisor at Oregon State University. He has contributed to industry standards, including ASCE guidance on seismic design of piers and wharves, and has authored numerous technical publications, helping advance best practices in geotechnical and waterfront engineering.
