Michael Gillen

Michael has vast experience in project engineering, consulting and public sector operations, with a focus on hydrology and hydraulics, water and wastewater systems, planning and design, water quality and environmental compliance. 

His strong technical foundation is backed by a multidisciplinary academic background. He holds a master of science in hydrogeology from the University of Western Australia, a bachelor of engineering (environmental) (Hons) and a bachelor of science in applied mathematics from the same institution. He also completed a graduate diploma in economics at the University of London.

His ability to blend technical engineering with project management, stakeholder engagement and operational realities allows him to create solutions aligned with long-term infrastructure and climate resilience needs.
