Julian Sandino
Dr. Julian Sandino is vice president, technology senior fellow and global wastewater solutions director emeritus at Jacobs, with experience supporting more than 400 sanitary infrastructure and environmental projects worldwide. His work spans process evaluation, design and applied research for a wide range of wastewater treatment facilities.
A recognized innovator in wastewater treatment and resource recovery, Julian has advanced full-scale applications of technologies that recover nutrients and biogas while reducing energy consumption. His work helps utilities improve efficiency, enhance sustainability and adapt to evolving regulatory and operational demands.
Julian also serves as an advisor to the World Bank on water and sanitation initiatives. A fellow of both the International Water Association and the Water Environment Federation, he has held leadership roles in key industry groups and contributed to advancing global best practices in wastewater treatment and plant design.
