Jorge Ferreira

Jorge Ferreira has spent more than 40 years designing the facilities where the world's medicines are made. As a technology manager, he evaluates, selects and specifies the equipment that powers sterile fill-finish operations, from formulation and aseptic filling to lyophilization, inspection and packaging. His experience spans clinical-through-commercial-scale facilities for antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), biologics and traditional sterile products, giving him a rare, ground-level understanding of how equipment choices shape a facility's design. 

Jorge works alongside clients and equipment vendors to build automation strategies for the toughest material-handling challenges in sterile manufacturing. When off-the-shelf technology doesn't go far enough, he believes the best partners co-create the solution — a philosophy that has shaped some of the industry's most advanced fill-finish facilities.
