John Karabias

John Karabias has more than 20 years of experience in cybersecurity and digital consulting, including work in national security and critical infrastructure protection. He now leads Jacobs’ Private Markets team within Digital & Data. Previously, he led a global team of industrial cybersecurity professionals focused on protecting operational technology (OT) across markets such as water, transportation and advanced manufacturing.

John is also an adjunct professor of information systems at Loyola University of Maryland and and serves on several for-profit and non-profit boards where he is committed to causes such as technology incubation, sustainable economic development, and K-12 education.
