Howie Tan

With 25 years of leadership experience delivering projects in the water, chemical and manufacturing industries, Howie has built a strong track record managing complex infrastructure programs. His experience includes water treatment, wastewater and desalination facilities, tunnels, water resources and watershed management projects, delivering critical infrastructure that supports long-term resilience, sustainability and operational performance. 

He currently leads Jacobs’ Tuas Water Reclamation Plant program, an advanced water reclamation facility that is central to Singapore's long-term water sustainability strategy. In this role, he oversees the integration of more than 15 construction packages across the project delivery lifecycle, leading a multidisciplinary team of more than 100 engineering, construction and support professionals and providing oversight for more than 4,000 construction personnel working across the project. 

Concurrently, as director of delivery excellence, he drives project performance across Jacobs' water portfolio in East and Southeast Asia, strengthening delivery capability and advancing outcomes on some of the region's most significant water infrastructure investments.
