Emily Reese Moody

Emily Reese Moody serves as Jacobs’ sustainability director for certifications and compliance, providing leadership and coordination for sustainability across the built environment. She helps clients integrate sustainability into projects through practical strategies that align certification goals, regulatory requirements and long-term performance objectives. 

Her experience includes more than 100 certification projects across leading frameworks such as LEED, WELL, Fitwel, Envision, Parksmart, Living Building Challenge and Zero Energy. Emily has supported more than 12 million square feet of registered projects, with over 9 million square feet successfully certified. As a designated LEEDuser expert, she brings nearly 20 years of experience advancing sustainable design and certification practices. 

In addition to certification-focused work, Emily helps clients incorporate sustainability into projects that are not pursuing formal certification, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and local, state and federal requirements. She is passionate about making sustainability a standard part of project delivery, helping teams translate complex requirements into practical, measurable outcomes.
