Colin Emmitt

Colin is a senior director for Jacobs’ Middle East region and currently serves as the market lead for ports and maritime. 

Colin has more than 30 years’ experience in the civil engineering industry. This includes major experience delivering marine related projects, including port terminals with associated port buildings and infrastructure, harbors, marinas, offshore islands, coastal waterfront developments, flood protection and water related engineering solutions. 

In addition to leading the ports and maritime department as a director, Colin’s experience includes feasibility studies, engineering design, project appraisal and strategy studies of maritime projects including ports, coastal and flood defense projects. He also has extensive experience in the appraisal of tidal and fluvial projects and of tender and contract document preparation, primarily for maritime projects. He has experience in construction management and site supervision of maritime projects.

Colin is based in Dubai, UAE and manages teams and projects throughout the Middle East.
