Christopher Boden

Chris Boden works with utilities and infrastructure owners to prepare networks for the next generation of power demand. His work focuses on integrated power systems that support accelerating demand from AI, electrification, renewable energy and energy storage. 

With more than 24 years of experience across the United Kingdom and Australia, Chris has led the planning and design of major transmission and distribution infrastructure, including transmission and distribution substations, high-voltage cable systems, battery energy storage projects and grid connections for gigawatt-scale data centers. He brings together multidisciplinary engineering teams to solve complex network challenges, supporting clients to balance scalability and delivery certainty as power systems become increasingly dynamic. 

Chris believes the future grid must be planned differently than the one it replaces. As electricity demand evolves, he enables clients to deliver increasingly large and complex generation, transmission, storage and demand projects to meet today’s and tomorrow’s needs.
