Catherine Dale is a Senior Associate Director based in England, with 33 years of experience delivering bridge and highway structures projects across all stages of the project lifecycle. She has worked with national and local governments, contractors and private-sector clients on complex design, assessment and asset management programs. 

As a sub-sector lead within Jacobs’ Bridges and Structures practice in the United Kingdom and Europe, Catherine is responsible for the Scheme Development Framework in England and plays a key role in supporting delivery across major bridge asset management programs for National Highways. She works closely with design and project management teams to drive delivery excellence, improve coordination and strengthen consistency across multidisciplinary programs. 

Catherine is particularly focused on improving efficiency through automation and standardization, as well as increasing the use of carbon assessment tools during early-stage option development. A fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, she is known for combining technical leadership with a collaborative, people-focused approach that helps clients deliver resilient and sustainable infrastructure outcomes.
