Alistair works with internal teams and clients to leverage the power of location data to solve big problems. He’s currently project managing one of the largest government-based spatial digital twin projects in the world for Spatial WA — an endeavor to transform how spatial data is used to deliver benefits to the State of Western Australia.
Outside of work, Alistair is a whitewater and kayak marathon enthusiast, completing the annual Avon Descent, a 77 mile (124 km) two-day whitewater paddle challenge, 11 times. According to Alistair, this very technical sport demands constant focus on technique and continuous improvement, not too dissimilar to the digital world.
