Alan McGinley

Alan is a transportation engineer and has also held project delivery and leadership roles in Jacobs’ water & environment and cities & places sectors. He has worked in Ireland, the U.K. and Australia. Alan has held board positions across multiple design and construction joint ventures and was the senior designers representative on the 4.5km twin bore Dublin Port Tunnel which ran through the center of Dublin city in Ireland. 

Alan was also the project manager on multiple large infrastructure planning approval processes and acted as lead witness in securing planning approval for some of Irelands largest infrastructure programs. 

Alan now leads Jacobs transportation business for Europe, a team of more than 1500 professionals, with a strong focus on client outcomes and innovation.
