Deborah Ross is global principal for wastewater facility planning at Jacobs, bringing more than 35 years of experience helping utilities plan, optimize and modernize wastewater treatment and resource recovery facilities. She specializes in wastewater facility master planning, treatment process optimization, biosolids management, energy recovery, asset management and the planning and design of complex treatment infrastructure. 

Throughout her career, Deborah has led multidisciplinary teams on some of North America's largest wastewater planning and infrastructure programs, guiding projects from long-term planning and environmental assessments through design and implementation. Her experience includes helping utilities improve operational performance, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, recover valuable resources and build resilient, sustainable infrastructure that meets future community needs. 

A recognized industry leader, Deborah is a past president of the Water Environment Association of Ontario, has authored more than 20 technical papers and is a frequent contributor to industry conferences and professional organizations.
