Alain Aurus leads Jacobs’ transmission and distribution work across APAC, bringing more than 25 years of experience to support utilities and Industrial clients in modernizing critical grid infrastructure and navigating the evolving energy landscape. His career spans leadership roles across Australia, Asia, Europe, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East, where he has delivered complex engineering programs for industrial and government clients while building high-performing, collaborative teams. 
 
Alain brings deep expertise in digital substations, protection systems and high-voltage network design, enabling utilities to accelerate delivery while strengthening reliability, safety and long-term network performance. By integrating modern digital standards such as IEC 61850 with modular engineering approaches, he works with clients to streamline substation delivery, reduce capital costs and bring new capacity online faster.
