Jonathan Weiss
Jonathan Weiss serves as Jacobs’ global principal for sustainable buildings and director of sustainability for Life Sciences North America. He supports high-performance building projects worldwide, helping clients integrate sustainability into complex facilities and long-term infrastructure strategies.
Working closely with Jacobs’ global life sciences sustainability team, Jonathan helps deliver consistent, scalable solutions for life sciences clients and partners across multiple regions. His background as an architect has shaped a career focused on applying sustainability principles to technically demanding facilities, particularly within research and life sciences environments.
In addition to his project leadership, Jonathan has contributed to sustainability education and industry knowledge sharing, including teaching graduate-level courses on sustainability and water systems at the University of Pennsylvania’s Weitzman School of Design. He helps clients create facilities that balance environmental performance, operational effectiveness and long-term business value.
