Mark Coyle

Mark Coyle is Jacobs’ global principal for rail operations, bringing extensive experience leading large multidisciplinary teams and delivering rail services across the United Kingdom and internationally. Before joining Jacobs, he spent 28 years in the rail industry, including a decade in executive operational and commercial leadership roles with English Welsh & Scottish Railway, now DB Cargo. 

His deep understanding of rail operations and end-user requirements enables him to help clients develop practical, performance-focused rail solutions. Mark is known for applying a whole-system approach that integrates track, train and timetable considerations to improve operational efficiency and support strategic outcomes.
