Maurice Gillen

As senior vice president and general manager for Jacobs’ Life Sciences business in Europe, Maurice Gillen leads more than 1,300 people across Ireland, the U.K., the Nordics, Germany, Switzerland and Italy, as well as supporting clients in additional countries as their operations expand. His responsibility spans the full delivery cycle: from early‑stage conceptual design to construction management, commissioning, qualification and validation, and long‑term sustaining activities. Known for his reliability and client‑focused approach, Maurice has built a reputation for ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget in an industry where time to market is critical. 

Outside of work, Maurice’s life centers on family. He and his wife have two teenage daughters and their shared experiences living and working abroad remain a source of resilience and pride. He’s also an avid sports fan, a dedicated golfer, and a DIY-er who always has a project underway, whether woodworking, model‑making or landscaping.
