Jacobs, as part of Confluence Water, delivered the detailed design and construction of a purified recycled water demonstration facility at Quakers Hill in Sydney. Our team provided engineering management, project management and multidisciplinary design services, including process, mechanical, electrical, civil and structural engineering, as well as drafting, 3D modeling and safety in design.
As part of Sydney Water’s Purified Recycled Water Foundation Project, the demonstration plant and visitor center provided a testing facility for producing high-quality recycled water from wastewater effluent that meets the Australian Guidelines for Water Recycling Phase 2.
