Nic Frederick

Nic brings more than 15 years of experience supporting environmental planning and compliance, with deep expertise in the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), natural and cultural resources, and public involvement. He works across complex programs, including transportation, infrastructure and coastal initiatives, helping clients balance development needs with environmental and regulatory requirements. 

He is known for delivering clear, defensible environmental assessments and impact statements that support efficient approvals and reduce project risk. In addition to project delivery, Nic contributes to the broader profession by advising federal agencies on NEPA guidance and participating in industry leadership initiatives. 

At Jacobs, he leads teams focused on environmental planning and natural resources, combining regulatory knowledge with strong technical writing to help clients make informed decisions and move projects forward with greater certainty.
