John Hansford

Having worked in military, industry and consulting environments for more than 30 years, John has extensive experience leading complex defense capability, infrastructure and transformation programs across air, land and maritime domains, as well as the Defence Nuclear Enterprise. Throughout his career, he has led multidisciplinary teams and worked closely with senior defense stakeholders and industry partners to deliver critical programs, strengthen operational capability and support defense modernization. 

At Jacobs, John leads our work in defense and security across Europe, working with clients and partners to address complex challenges, strengthen resilience and deliver the capabilities and infrastructure required to meet evolving defense and security needs. 

John previously served for more than 20 years in the Royal Air Force and has significant international experience working with defense organizations and teams across Europe, the United States and Australia.
