David Nguyen
David Nguyen is a senior project manager and technologist specializing in zero-emission transportation, fleet electrification and high-power charging infrastructure. With experience spanning the electric vehicle and mobility sectors, David brings a practical understanding to how emerging vehicles and charging technologies can be deployed at scale. His work focuses on translating these technologies into reliable, scalable infrastructure solutions that meet the operational demands of real-world fleets.
David’s project experience includes leading major electrification planning and infrastructure initiatives for transportation agencies and port authorities. At the Ports of Virginia and Cleveland, he supported the transition of cargo-handling and terminal equipment to battery electric technologies, building the technical and operational foundations needed for long-term adoption.
His work has included assessing fleet energy requirements, evaluating charging approaches and planning the electrical infrastructure needed to support future operations. David has also contributed to major transit electrification programs across North America, including charging infrastructure and deployment planning for Los Angeles Metro and New York MTA.
Rather than viewing electrification as a vehicle or charger procurement exercise, David approaches projects as integrated operational systems. He looks at how fleet operations, utility capacity, facility constraints and future growth influence successful deployment. By connecting technology decisions with real-world operating conditions, he works with organizations to build electrification programs that are practical, scalable and resilient.
