Simon Treadwell

Dr. Simon Treadwell has more than 30 years of experience restoring rivers, wetlands and floodplain ecosystems. His expertise spans aquatic ecology, eco-hydrology, habitat rehabilitation, environmental risk assessments and water quality monitoring.   

Throughout his career, Simon has supported numerous projects designed to improve environmental outcomes for rivers and wetlands, including environmental flow and wetland water regime assessments, environmental impact assessments, irrigation modernizations and water savings projects. Simons holds an undergraduate degree in Agricultural Science and has extensive post-graduate research experience in aquatic ecology. 

Alongside his technical experience, Simon has held a range of operational, management and leadership roles at Jacobs. In his current role, he provides specialist technical advice to project teams, technical panels, government agencies and planning review panels on aquatic ecology and eco-hydrology issues.
