Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has been awarded a third term as a framework provider of professional consultancy services across highway, transportation and related scheme development with Lancashire County Council in the U.K. Lancashire’s role as Highway Authority is to plan, maintain and upgrade transport infrastructure, to make the county’s roads less congested and safer, while supporting local economic growth and easy access to employment.

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has been selected by Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise to provide design services to widen over nine miles of the Sawgrass Expressway in South Florida, from six to ten lanes, incorporating two express lanes in each direction of traffic. Jacobs will also design the reconstruction and rehabilitation of three interchanges, a project with an estimated construction value of $125 million, according to Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise.

Saudi Aramco entered into an agreement today with Jacobs to form a Saudi Arabia-based joint venture company to provide professional program and construction management (PMCM) services for social infrastructure projects throughout the Kingdom and across the Middle East and North Africa. Jacobs’ presence in Saudi Arabia spans more than 40 years.

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has expanded its systems integrator agreement with leading technology company Cisco, to include Canada. The expansion enables Jacobs to utilize Cisco technology and services to deliver its integrated connectivity solutions to support operations and cost optimization in oil and gas, mining and chemical facilities. The agreement will also enhance Jacobs’ industrial cybersecurity offerings for clients in Canada. Recent estimates indicate that the value of this market is poised to exceed $20 billion annually by 2025.

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has received the contract to support the United States Army Electronic Proving Ground Scientific and Engineering Support Services, providing test and evaluation for the Army and other Department of Defense agencies. Work will primarily be performed at Fort Huachuca with additional work at Fort Hood, Fort Bliss, Aberdeen Proving Ground and White Sands Missile Range. The contract is valued in excess of $130 million over five years if all options are exercised.

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc., as one of BASF’s Global Engineering Partners for Large Capital Projects, provides engineering, procurement and construction management services for BASF sites worldwide. Under this global partnership, Jacobs has now been appointed to execute services at BASF’s site in Ludwigshafen, Germany. With an area of approximately ten square kilometers the Ludwigshafen Verbund site is the world’s largest integrated chemical complex.
