Jacobs partnered with the United States Air National Guard (ANG) to earn the 2021 ANG General Thomas D. White Environmental Restoration, Installation Award for sustainable work at 158th Fighter Wing, Burlington, Vermont (VT), ANG Base. This award recognizes the team for safely minimizing the disruption to the installation while demonstrating that an effective environmental restoration program is not incompatible with mission-critical objectives.

World MS Day, is celebrated on May 30 each year. It brings the global MS community together to share stories, raise awareness and campaign with everyone affected by multiple sclerosis (MS). In honor of World MS Day, we connected with three Jacobs team members who shared their personal stories.

Jacobs has been appointed as the design consultant for the design and construction of the Tavistock Station and Tunnels, as part of the Cross Island Line Phase 1 project in Singapore. Constructed in three phases, the Cross Island Line is Singapore's eighth Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line with the longest fully underground network. It will serve existing and future developments in the eastern, north-eastern and western corridors – linking major hubs and interchanges and make commuting across the rail network more convenient and efficient.

Jacobs worked with the Environment Agency and supply chain partners to research the use of concrete in the U.K. and recommend ways to further reduce carbon in construction.
