Introducing New OneWater Reflections Series

By Joseph Danyluk, Jacobs OneWater Director

OneWater Reflections

Welcome to OneWater Reflections, our new thought leadership series which shares insights and stories from #OurJacobs water team about how we’re developing integrated and collaborative solutions to the world’s most pressing water challenges.

At Jacobs, we recognize water’s role in the natural cycles of our planet; its connections to land, food and energy; and perhaps most importantly, its influence on our cities, our societies and our cultures. We use this OneWater perspective to plan, design and implement solutions that are grounded in three core principles:

  1. All water has value.
  2. Water challenges are complex and interconnected.
  3. Water solutions must be sustainable, inclusive and equitable.

Key to the success of OneWater approaches is collaboration. With this new series, we aim to highlight examples of collaboration that will further OneWater approaches in watersheds and communities around the world. In the coming weeks and months, we’ll share examples of projects, perspectives and experiences from our global thought leaders and technologists who are implementing OneWater thinking and action.
