Jacobs Group (Australia) has signed an extended strategic partnership with the Indigenous Defence & Infrastructure Consortium (iDiC), a leading organization connecting Indigenous-owned businesses with major projects across Australia. This renewed agreement, signed in December 2025, continues our collaboration for another two years, building on the strong relationship established in 2023.

Since the partnership began, Jacobs has worked closely with iDiC to deliver a wide range of projects supporting Indigenous‑owned businesses and strengthening relationships across the sector.

This extension reflects Jacobs’ continued commitment to inclusion and belonging — known as TogetherBeyond — and its 2024–2026 Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), which includes a focus on increasing engagement and building partnerships with Indigenous suppliers. The RAP has supported progress across the sector, with Indigenous business engagement and the number of Indigenous suppliers we work with growing in the 2025 financial year.

“Extending our partnership with iDiC demonstrates Jacobs’ commitment to working together with respect and purpose to deliver solutions for a more sustainable, inclusive and equitable tomorrow for all people and communities across Australia,” says Senior Vice President and General Manager, Australia & New Zealand Camille McGregor. “Through our TogetherBeyond approach we’re proud to strengthen relationships that deliver real outcomes for the communities we serve.”

iDiC plays a key role in creating opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses to participate in large-scale infrastructure and defense projects.

“Jacobs continues to demonstrate a genuine commitment to our partnership through consistent executive input and support at every stage. This consistent engagement has strengthened trust, capability and shared purpose across our organizations. Together we are driving positive growth and outcomes for Indigenous entrepreneurs and peoples — a journey which we look forward to continuing,” says iDiC General Manager of Strategy, Tahlia Howard.

The partnership will also help grow local Indigenous businesses and support the next generation of talent across a range of professional fields aligned with the infrastructure industry and broader supply chain.
