Rebecca Reynolds – Head of Tunnel and Ground Engineering, Europe
Rebecca has been with Jacobs for over seven years and worked in various technical and leadership roles, including sector, market and technical lead. For the past four years, she has led the 350-person tunneling and ground engineering (TGE) team in Europe within our water and environment business. She's responsible for strategic growth, daily operations, meeting margins, billable hours and recruitment.

Russell Ford – Global Director for Drinking Water & Reuse Solutions
Russell leads our drinking water business from both a technical and leadership perspective, bringing the best resources to deliver critical client solutions. Most recently, he’s finished the commissioning of a 60 million-gallons-per-day ozone facility for the removal of disinfection by-products, working on removing PFAS from groundwater systems and addressing water quality issues within water distribution systems.

Andrew Dunstone – Range Safety Engineer
Working with the Royal Australian Air Force Test Ranges Squadron, Andrew is responsible for providing specialist engineering support for trials at the Woomera Test Range in South Australia, which is the largest land-based weapons test range in the world. He also supports operation of a couple of other ranges dotted around Australia. His role is to use his in-depth knowledge of weapons testing and safety systems to develop a safe way to undertake complex weapons test activities.

Afraa Al Shalabi – Project Director, Participants Pavilions Delivery
A civil engineer specialized in infrastructure and environmental engineering from Damascus, Syria, Afraa was one of the first Jacobs employees to join the Expo 2020 Program as far back as January 2015. She led a team of over 35, including Expo and embedded consultants, covering four delivery functions: Design management; construction management; health, safety, and environment (HSE) management; and project controls.

Melanie Holmer – Vice President, Global Water Reuse Principal
An environmental engineer with more than 25 years’ experience, Melanie specializes in strategic planning, process selection, detailed design, program management and technical direction in drinking water, wastewater and water reuse. She’s focused most of the past decade on providing subject matter expertise for major potable reuse projects as well as providing advanced treatment regulatory and policy development and research, including pilot and full-scale trials to support diverse water supply strategies.

Paul Macinante – Senior Project Manager
Paul Macinante’s passion for engineering and water has never waned over his 40-year career in the water industry. He currently serves as a technical advisor and senior project manager for a project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: The King Saud University Relocation project. He’s guiding the team in the development of the concept design and tender documentation to relocate the wet and dry utilities on a university campus.

Grace Moujaes – Head of Sector, Strategic Consulting, Middle East
Grace currently leads the Strategic Consulting team in the Middle East. In this role, she manages a team that focuses on economics, social value, equity and policy, sustainability, and climate response and technology-enabled advisory solutions for some of the most transformational projects in the world.

Mónica Quiñones – Project Principal
Mónica was inspired to pursue engineering after growing up in an area experiencing water pressure challenges. She realized that she could impact her community and their daily lives. She has held various positions serving our federal and municipal clients during her 18-year tenure at Jacobs. Currently, she is working with the Department of Defense (DoD) Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) and serving as Deputy Program Director for the National Parks Service (NPS).

Amanda Lake – Head of Carbon and Circular Economy for Europe
For the past 22 years, Amanda's work has been process engineering in the water industry, specifically water and wastewater treatment using conventional and nature-based solutions. In the last few years, she's made an intentional effort to move into the related areas of climate action and circular economy. Amanda and her talented team of tech-savvy engineers and specialists are fundamentally pushing the sector forward in the critical space of process emissions.

Thomas Foster – Regional Aviation Technical Director, Middle East
With over 40 years honing his craft, Thomas has delivered unique solutions to clients across world. Today, he is dedicated to driving innovation throughout the Middle East region and encourages teams to challenge conventional norms and bring innovative solutions to our aviation clients. He loves the opportunity to develop and lead a team of airport and airfield experts in the Middle East while working on and delivering amazing projects as part of our team.

Jaime Shapiro – Project Engineer
Jaime’s 17-year-long career on rail projects has allowed her to work on networks across the continental U.S. She is currently the track design lead for the DART Silver Line Double Track project, a 26-mile design build rail project which goes from the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) airport to Plano, Texas, immersing herself in the fast-paced nature of design-build and embracing the opportunity to work one on one with the contractors. She also helps to lead the rail team in our Irvine, California office.

Graeme Cooper – Global VP, Energy Transition
Graeme recently relocated from the U.K. to Boston, Massachusetts, where he’s helping energy and power businesses match or exceed the scale and pace of the energy transition. He’s also helping non-energy businesses, recognizing that energy and power impacts all sectors when it comes to the energy transition. He’s using his 20+ years of experience consulting and advising on policy, regulatory, climate and market issues to innovate solutions for both private and public-sector clients around the world.

The Environment Agency appointed us to design and supervise the construction of new wetlands on one of the U.K.'s largest coastal management schemes to restore habitats, mitigate flood risk and respond to climate change.

Red Sea International Airport
Along with our team of sub-consultants, we've been tasked to develop the design for the Red Sea International Airport from detailed design through to construction documentation. Once complete, the airport will act as the gateway to the Red Sea archipelago and resorts.

Goodyear Water Treatment Facility
Thanks to an award-winning design-build-operate project, a new 6-mile pipeline links the City of Goodyear to its Colorado River water allocation through the Salt River Project (SRP) canal system, allowing the city to access a surface water source for the first time.

Solarhope
In a world that’s fast advancing in terms of technology and development, it’s easy to forget there are still areas where people live without access to necessities like electricity. Upper Pasto, a remote region in Carranglan, Nueva Ecija in the Philippines, is one such place. We donated 29 solar panels equipped with lights and a community hall solar power system. Our team also helped in the renovation of the community hall, which had been damaged during a recent typhoon.

WuXi Biologics Drug Substance Manufacturing Facility
We were selected to provide construction management services to support the development of WuXi Biologics' drug substance manufacturing facility. The facility is now in final stage qualification to deliver lifesaving drugs to patients.

We're helping adapt 7.5 miles of the San Francisco Waterfront to be resilient to earthquakes, coastal storms and sea level rise, including preserving and fortifying of the 100-year-old Embarcadero Seawall.

Advancing technological innovation for fusion energy, we're leading the construction management-as-agent joint venture at ITER, coordinating the assembly of more than one million components in the ITER machine.

Bridges to Prosperity
At Jacobs, we believe in investing in local communities not only where our employees live and work, but globally, making a positive impact and living our values.
In July 2023, #OurJacobs team partnered with nonprofit Bridges to Prosperity to build a bridge across the Kamiranzomvu River to provide safe, year-round access for the surrounding communities, empowering them to end poverty due to rural isolation.

The Butterfly Effect
The Butterfly Effect and Earn Your Wings: Take Flight with the Butterfly Effect are designed to provide young people with the knowledge and understanding they need to put sustainability at the heart of everything they do. The Butterfly Effect program is aimed at 5 to 11-year-olds while the Earn Your Wings: Take Flight with the Butterfly Effect program continues the learning from younger ages into teenagers, aged 11 to 18 years.
