A passionate environmental engineer with more than three decades of experience, Dr. Russell Ford’s career has concentrated on improving drinking water quality and providing a positive impact on public health around the globe. As our Global Director for Drinking Water & Reuse Solutions, Russell leads our drinking water business from both a technical and leadership perspective, bringing the best resources to deliver critical client solutions.

Larry Schimmoller, Global Principal for Water Reuse
Larry Schimmoller has spent most of his 30+ year career at Jacobs advancing water reuse practices in the global water sector and helping clients respond to the impacts of climate change. As our Global Principal for Water Reuse, Larry helps our clients to plan, design and implement potable and non-potable water reuse projects that provide communities with sustainable and resilient water supplies.

As our Global Principal for Drinking Water & Reuse, Jesus connects our clients with Jacobs’ talented team of water professionals. Jim Lozier, Global Principal - Membrane Treatment and Desalination
Jim was a research desalting engineer for the United States Navy developing mobile reverse osmosis units to support the Marine Corps before joining Jacobs in 1989. As a consultant, Jim has delivered membrane and desalination projects for clients in North America, Singapore, Australia and the Middle East. In his role as Jacobs global principal for membrane treatment and desalination, Jim strives to stay abreast of emerging technologies in these areas as well as advanced water reuse to assist our clients in delivering the optimum water treatment solutions for their projects.

Lauren Wasserstrom, National Practice Leader for Lead and Copper Rule Compliance
Lauren Wasserstrom is passionate about reducing lead exposure in drinking water and protecting public health. As Jacobs’ National Practice Leader for Lead and Copper Rule Compliance, Lauren supports water systems across the United States with the implementation of the new Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR) and helps them leverage available funding sources, like the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

Scott Grieco, Global Principal for PFAS & Emerging Contaminants
Dr. Scott Grieco has over 30 years of experience in the evaluation, design and optimization of water treatment systems across the public utility, remediation and industrial sectors. For the past ten years, Scott has focused on the evaluation and treatment of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS.) As our Global Principal for PFAS & Emerging Contaminants, Dr. Grieco is an expert in physical/chemical treatment of emerging contaminants and persistent environmental compounds.

Kim Ervin, Global Principal for Drinking Water and Reuse
Kim Ervin has over 25 years of experience planning and designing water treatment projects for our clients. She focuses on all areas of water system planning, including treatment process evaluation and the use of data solutions to optimize facility planning and design. As Global Principal for Drinking Water and Reuse, Kim supports our clients with water treatment projects, specializing in water quality and water treatment planning, alternatives evaluation, bench and pilot testing, design and construction.

John Rickermann, Managing Director, Technical Services Group, OMFS
As Managing Director, Technical Services Group, OMFS, John Rickermann is the technology and innovation interface between the Jacobs O&M division and the greater Jacobs organization. He manages a specialty team of 75 subject matter experts in water treatment and maintenance. The Jacobs O&M group includes 3,000 operators and mechanics at over 200 sites. His current focus is on digitizing and cybersecurity for O&M functions to improve efficiency and manage the decline in O&M staffing availability.

Donald C. Tillman Advanced Water Purification Facility (AWPF)
Jacobs has been selected by LA Sanitation and Environment (LASAN) and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) as the progressive design-build contractor for the Donald C. Tillman Advanced Water Purification Facility (AWPF). The project is a key part of the City of Los Angeles' long-term water management objective to fully reuse its water supplies and is one of the largest potable reuse projects in the country.
