See you at IAQ Infrastructure Assembly 2023

Successfully leveraging infrastructure spending to deliver a broad range of positive impacts, transformative outcomes and an enduring legacy for the people of Queensland requires a step-change in the way we think about infrastructure and its role in delivering value for communities.

It's not just about building; it's about creating a legacy that transforms communities, drives economic growth and fosters environmental sustainability. We need to set our sights higher, be bolder, more ambitious and more expansive in the positive impacts we set out to achieve to make sure major programs and projects deliver across a broad spectrum of outcomes at every opportunity.

This year's IAQ Infrastructure Assembly focuses on the themes of energy transformation, regional prosperity and development and the 2032 Games, and how the decision we make now can deliver the intended legacy for future generations of Queenslanders.

We're eager to hear your thoughts and ideas. Together, we can shape a brighter future for Queensland.

See you at the event!

    Climate responce & decarbonisation

Decarbonisation is our overarching path to a climate positive future and this “race to zero” comprises two complementary pathways. The first pathway is about reducing the carbon footprint produced across every industry – from water and transport, to manufacturing and city precincts. The second is by decarbonising the gas and electricity systems that power them, which is commonly referred to as “the energy transition.”
