Jacobs Wins Global Water Awards for Innovative, Sustainable Water Work

Jacobs has been recognized for its innovative, technical and sustainable achievements in the international water sector. The Green Meadows Water Treatment Plant in southwest, Florida, and the Tuas Desalination Plant in Singapore, both of which were under the engineering supervision of Jacobs, received the coveted Global Water Awards for Water Project of the Year and Desalination Plant of the Year, respectively. Jacobs was also honored with a distinction award for Water Company of the Year. Established in 2006 by Global Water Intelligence (GWI), the awards recognize the most important achievements in the international water industry over the previous year, rewarding initiatives and companies that are moving the industry forward.

Jacobs Launches Tender Offer to Acquire KeyW for $11.25 per Share in Cash

Jacobs today announced that its wholly owned indirect subsidiary, Atom Acquisition Sub, Inc., a Maryland corporation ("Merger Sub"), has commenced a tender offer for all of the outstanding shares of common stock, par value $0.001 per share, of The KeyW Holding Corporation (NASDAQ: KEYW), a Maryland corporation ("KeyW"), at a price of $11.25 per share, net to the seller in cash, without any interest thereon and less any applicable withholding taxes, upon the terms and conditions set forth in the tender offer to purchase dated today, a copy of which has been filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Jacobs Supports First-of-Its-Kind Test for Missile Defense Agency

Jacobs supported the first-ever successful salvo test of the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) system, involving two Ground-Based Interceptors (GBIs) against an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM), conducted by the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). This was the first test to implement the salvo doctrine of launching two interceptors against one target, proving the effectiveness of the overall system. This was a monumental milestone for the United States' critical homeland defense system designed to defend against intermediate and long-range ballistic missile threats.

Jacobs Awarded Contract at US Army Dugway Proving Ground

Jacobs was awarded a fifteen-month direct award bridge contract to perform field range testing and laboratory support services for the West Desert Test Center at Dugway Proving Ground (DPG) in Utah. Continuing the work Jacobs has performed at the major test site for the past 15 years, the West Desert Test Center estimates the contract value at $27 million.
