Kenneth Anderle

Kenneth Anderle is the Deputy General Manager for the Jacobs NORAD Operations Group (JNOG) and Deputy Program Manager of the NISSC II contract. The contract, known as the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II), is a $455 million contract supporting the Operations, Maintenance, and Sustainment (OM&S) of critical mission systems for the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD).

Before joining the Jacobs team, he served for 10 years in the Army as an Apache helicopter pilot following his commissioning from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He served in Iraq as the Company Commander of an Apache attack helicopter company, where he was awarded the Bronze Star, Air Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, and Army Commendation Medal with Valor for his actions.

Following his military service, he joined the Jacobs team in 2008 as a test director operating the space environment simulation test facilities at Johnson Space Center (JSC) on the ESCG/JETS contracts. After three years as a test director, he became the section manager of the Test Management Section, responsible for operations and maintenance of NASA’s space environment simulation test facilities at Johnson Space Center (JSC). In addition to being the section manager, Kenneth also served as the Jacobs project manager for facility modifications, integration, and cryo-certification testing of the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST). In 2017, Kenneth was assigned as the Division Technical Manager for NASA’s Structural Engineering Division, where he and his team were responsible for the flight readiness certification of the manned SpaceX Dragon and NASA Orion space capsules, among many other challenges. He is the recipient of the NASA Space Achievement Award and the Rotary National for Space Achievement-Stellar Award.

In 2019, Kenneth joined the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract as the Program Controls Director, where he set up the directorate and established the contract’s Earned Value Management Program, achieving system validation from the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) in 2020. In the summer of 2021, IRES merged the Systems Engineering and Program Integration (SEPI) and Program Controls departments under Kenneth’s leadership, at which time he also became the contract’s Chief Engineer. In this role, Kenneth has established a fully integrated Mission Protection Program for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Integration and Operations Center (MDIOC) to include contract-level Systems Engineering and Configuration Management programs. He also established a Lean Six Sigma (LSS) training and certification program for the contract recently adopted as the Jacobs corporate LSS program. To date, he has contributed to more than $5 million in cost savings and avoidance to the IRES contract. Additionally, Kenneth restructured his organization and adopted it in partnership with his government customers. He adopted a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe™) construct, delivering immeasurable MDA and IRES contract results.

Kenneth lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado with his wife, Jennifer, and their four dogs. He is an avid bird hunter and loves training his hunting dogs in the “off-season.” He is also a long-time alpine skiing enthusiast and a passionate fan of Formula One racing.
