Meet Bradley Allpike

Brad was a postdoctoral research fellow before moving into consulting where he has since delivered projects in Australia, India, the Middle East, China and across Southeast Asia.

He stays up to date on emerging techniques and technologies in desalination and water reuse to ensure industry best practice is applied to Jacobs’ projects.

Brad has 22 years of experience in drinking water treatment and desalination. His interest lies in working on small and large complex seawater desalination plants, implementing solutions to reliably deliver treated water for his clients and the communities they serve.

Through application of new and emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning, he’s helping Jacobs’ teams and clients across the region implement innovative water resilience solutions that reduce environmental impacts through more efficient operation, reducing resource demand and optimizing energy efficiencies.

Brad is a Chartered Chemist with the Royal Australian Chemical Institute and holds a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Curtin University of Technology in Perth, Australia.

“More and more frequently Jacobs is asked to deliver project solutions that are safe while optimizing whole of life costs and reducing our environmental impact. At Jacobs we’re using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to supplement our decades of design experience to find additional benefits for our clients.”
